How long will my order take?

FSS Jewellery is a UK business. Depending on the piece, your order is sent either from London or directly from our specialist jewellery workshop in China, always with tracked delivery. Returns always come back to us in the UK. The times below are from the day you order to the day it arrives.

In-stock pieces

Prepared and dispatched within 2–4 working days.

Personalised & made-to-order pieces

Allow an extra 1–2 weeks (5–10 working days) to make your piece, then the delivery times below.
Baby Handprint Necklace: made from the print you send us after ordering, so please allow up to 4 weeks.

During busy periods such as Christmas and promotions, preparation can take a little longer. If you need a piece by a certain date, please order early or email us first.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. We run free-shipping offers from time to time.

Import duties & taxes

We design our jewellery in London and many pieces are made and sent directly from our specialist workshop in China. Because of this, some orders pass through customs on their way to you. We want you to know exactly what to expect before you order.

United Kingdom

Orders of £135 or less: no customs duty is charged.
Orders over £135 sent from our workshop: import VAT and customs duty may be collected by the delivery company before your parcel is released. They will contact you by text or email with the amount and how to pay.

Outside the UK

Import duties, taxes and any carrier handling fees are set by your country’s customs and are the customer’s responsibility. They are collected by the delivery company before delivery. The amount depends on your country and the value of your order.

If an order is refused because import charges were not paid, the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Order tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can also use the Track your order page. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Delayed or lost parcels

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier to the address given at checkout, delivery is complete and responsibility for the parcel passes to you. We are unable to guarantee against loss or theft after this point.

If you believe your parcel was delivered incorrectly, please email contact@fssjewellery.com and we will help you open an investigation with the carrier.

Incorrect shipping information

Please make sure your shipping address is accurate and complete before placing your order. If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.

This warranty does not cover:

General wear and tear
Scratches, dents, tarnishing, or fading caused by daily use
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, or neglect
Lost or stolen items
Unauthorized modifications or repair attempts
Damage caused by improper storage or exposure to chemicals
Purchases made through unauthorized sellers or third-party marketplaces

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Our team will assess the item and provide a suitable solution, which may include repair, replacement, or store credit where appropriate.

Please note that natural wear over time is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Return Policy

30-Day Returns

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@fssjewellery.com before sending any items back.

Please note that returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Once your return request has been approved, we will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

For your protection, we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service when returning jewelry items. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@fssjewellery.com and include clear photos of the issue. We will review the situation and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Personalized or custom-made jewelry (including engraved, initial, birthstone, or made-to-order pieces)
Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
Sale or clearance items
Gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order once your return has been approved.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason and without justification.

Returned items must be unworn, unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Please note that personalized and custom-made jewelry is exempt from the EU cooling-off period and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may require additional time to process and post the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
