Ring Sizing Guide
Getting the fit right makes all the difference. Use our guide to measure at home accurately and avoid the need to exchange.
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of your finger and mark where it overlaps. Measure the length in millimetres — this is your circumference. Cross-reference this number with our ring size chart on the product page to find your UK size. Always measure in the evening when fingers are at their largest.
UK ring sizes use an alphabetical system: J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R. The most common sizes for women are between K and N. For reference, UK L is approximately US 5.5, and UK N is approximately US 7. Our full conversion chart is available on each product page.
Contact us within 30 days and we will arrange an exchange for the correct size. For non-personalised rings this is straightforward. For engraved rings, please contact us to discuss your options — resizing may affect the inscription depending on how it was applied.
Our rings are available in standard UK letter sizes. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort, particularly for rings with wider bands. If you require a specific half-size, please contact us before placing your order.
Yes — solid gold rings can be resized by a skilled jeweller. If you are between sizes or unsure, we recommend having your finger measured at a local jewellery shop before ordering, as this gives the most accurate result.
Fingers can change size throughout the day and with temperature. Measure in the evening when your fingers are at their largest and have been at a comfortable room temperature for a while. If you are between sizes, size up rather than down — a slightly loose ring is more comfortable than one that is too tight.
If you cannot ask the recipient, borrow a ring they already own and measure its inner diameter with a ruler. Alternatively, most women’s rings in the UK are between size L and N, with N being the most common average. When in doubt, size up and note our exchange policy covers sizing.
